    • Manosplint Ohio is a low-temperature thermoplastic with 100% memory that is ideal for a wide range of splints
    • Translucency when heated allows for clear visibility of the target areas
    • Ohio has a non-stick coating, providing a smooth, glossy surface that will allow temporary ‘pinch bonds’ but will not permanently bond unless the coating is removed.
    • Available in solid or 1%, 11%, 15%, 19% perforated sheet
    • Standard Sheet Size: 18" X 24"
    • Available in white and beige
    • 3 thickness options

    Suggested Clinical Applications:

    • Immobilization orthoses – wrist, thumb and hand; wide variety of diagnoses including pediatrics, tendon injuries, fractures, arthritis, and neurological diagnoses
    • Mobilization orthoses – serial static approach or base for dynamic and static progressive designs
    • Circumferential designs

    Other features include: 100% memory, moderate resistance to stretch, moderate drape, high rigidity and resists finger prints.

    Memory: 100% Memory – when fully reheated can regain original size and shape.

    Resistance to Stretch (RTS): Moderate handling with smooth strokes during molding. Shapes easily.

    Drape: Moderate pressure needed for a conforming fit.

    Rigidity: Maximum – strong support.

    Bonding & Finish: Coated material that resists fingerprints with a shiny finish. Will not adhere to itself unless the coating is removed.

    Perforations: Available on solid or 1%

    Material Thickness: 1/8″ (3.2mm), 3/32″ (2.4mm), and 1/16 (1.6mm)
