    *

The non-woven Artiflex® bandage creates an underlying pad and ensures even distribution of pressure is created with the compression bandage. The padding also makes this therapy comfortable, especially to bony prominences. For individuals with sensitive skin or have a latex allergy, the application of Artiflex provides very important protective layer prior to stretchy compression bandages that often have latex.

Artiflex® is also a multi-purpose bandage used in other medical applications such as wraping a limb to create padding before a plaster cast or synthetic cast application to heal a broken or fractured bone. The material is air permeable to release moisture buildup to keep skin dry and comfortable. It's non-absorbent as well to never retain moisture which is helpful in humid climates.
