Bauerfeind CaligaLoc Stabilizing Ankle Brace offers both medial and lateral support in order to support the entire ankle. It counteracts supination and prevents abnormal loads in the upper ankle. The user can wear it all day and all night if need be. It is different than stirrup supports since it stabilizes the ankle even when a shoe is not worn and keep the ankle stable even if there is moderate footdrop or instability. Additionally, it supports the foot in dorsiflexion.
